Just got this media alert for 10.30 am Thursday: "Qantas Group Chief Executive Officer, Alan Joyce together with Qantas Loyalty Chief Executive Officer, Olivia Wirth to announce significant changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program – the biggest overhaul to the airline’s loyalty program in its 32 year history."

Let the speculation begin!

Nothing in my inbox about this, just the Japan sale, book now lah lah.
Pure surprise.
I guess, after Alan J's spiel on Blomberg, its probably something to help him save more $.
Probably making P+P ineligible for earning Qpoints and QF SC.

Enhancements are a-coming

I'm going to speculate that LTS and LTG are going to be impacted. Perhaps higher SC target?

I doubt they would switch to a dynamic pricing or revenue-based FF model.

There was this clue from December that more seats could be made available, at a higher points cost, but with lower cash surcharges.
