Hi member,​ ​ We would love to invite you to join our Qantas Frequent Flyer Member Insights Crew. Led by our Research and Insights team, this initiative invites members to provide survey feedback on a broad range of our products from flying and shopping to finance. This is a non-incentivised program where members will receive one or two short surveys a month. Your confidential feedback plays a very important part in shaping the Qantas loyalty program. We are seeking expressions of interest at this time, with selected members to be contacted in the coming weeks.​

I got invited to join back in 2020 and get occasional surveys from it here and there. As the e-mail mentions the surveys are broad and range from providing feedback on design mockups for things like the credit card comparison site or Qantas app through to thoughts on the QFF program more broadly.

So, they want people to apply to spend their time freely assisting a multi-billion dollar business and then they’ll think about it, and let you know if you’ve been selected to be privileged to be chosen to donate your time to them?

Ages ago I agreed to take part in their 'feedback panel' or whatever it was called. Made me sound special, when they emailed saying something like 'As a member of the Qantas feedback panel we'd value your comments on your recent flight...'

Nowadays they don't email surveys with those words any more but I've just deleted the last couple.

As I suspected … best to just concentrate on ff points and SC accumulation. Delete it is!
