That depends on the airport. If there is a business class check in desk then you can use it, otherwise the 1st check in; if travelling without luggage , then I would just use Online Check in

The appropriate check-in counters for AA elites are clearly marked and this includes matching status.

It will vary airport by airport - LAX for example has separate First and business class counters.

Domestic AA flights don't offer business class do they??

Flying from SFO even though flying all the time from there I don't remember seeing a business domestic only econ and first.

Just did online check in and didn't get priority access as well this is a given on Gold status yes? Might need to recheck?

Flying from SFO you might be right. Business class operates on 767-200 'flagship' transcon services, which might just be LAX-JFK (and vv).

As for your priority - need to make sure your QF number is correctly entered into the booking - that should then give you group 1 boarding priority.

Some agents manage to get the number in right, some don't. If your QFFF number is on the boarding pass then it has been enetered correctly. Often they will say 'the number's in the booking' but unless it's on the bp it isn't entered correctly.

If it's not there, present the card + your boarding pass at a check-in counter and get them to enter the number and reissue. Or check again at the AAdmirals club.

Flagship service also on JFK-SFO and JFK-MIA routes.

Any QFF status (>NB) earns 'Priority AAccess' on the BP - skipping queues at TSA checkpoints and ability to board *before* group 1 is called.

And there is definitely a business queue in LAX T4, which is marked as for use by AA Plat / OWS.
