I think that's a pretty good price for what you get, considering the flights are worth ~$200, the cruise perhaps $40, Taronga $40, and also some food and transfers as well.

Pity there's no points to be earnt!

No mention of the points on the Sydney trip, I agree its a good deal, it will sell quick, pity they cannot put on the A380, maybe they can.......

Wonder if you pay for it with an Earth Amex Card if get double points?

Anyway these charity flights can be fun and I've done some from CBR on their open day in October 2007/08.

Now no points I can live with(out) but no SCs? Sacre bleu!

An A380 joyride somewhere would be fun. Maybe not for the general public, but definitely for some of us... Which reminds me I must plan to be on one of the Antarctic charters at some stage.

It does state "Frequent Flyer points will not be earned for the flight.", so I assume that also means SC's won't be earnt. Not really unexpected as 9.4.1(c) of the FF T&C's does exclude charters from points earning.

Given you're actually flying on a regular scheduled service it doesn't really seem right you don't get points/SCs.

The points exclusion only seems to apply to the mystery flights, and lets hope an A380 is scheduled MEL-SYD that day, although I doubt it!

Yeah I agree with both points. Just didn't read the finer print carefully.

Is it an omission? Not sure. Consider that mystery flights aren't directly excluded for points earning (although I thought they were at one stage) yet are marked as non-earning on the description.

Someone will have to take the flights and report back !
