Hi, does anyone have experience or know if a wheelchair pax that is flying QF J class alone and international, is lounge access still available (will the porter drop off and pickup prior to departure) or do they wait at the gate?
TIA.

Yes they can still access the lounge.

Yes they can still access the lounge.
My concern was not with the entitlement to visit the lounge, it's J class so the entitlement is there, but does a wheelchair porter deliver them to the lounge and collect them prior to boarding.

I had a fear that our family member traveling alone might be forgotten about, or told that due to manpower they wouldn't take them to the lounge, just the gate.

We can now confirm that they do take you to the lounge (time permitting) and collect you in time for priority boarding.
