Hi I recently linked a lounge invite for the qantas club lounge, for a Jetstar flight.
The expiry date is a couple of weeks before the actual flight. But it still allowed me to link it and sent me a confirmation email with QR code.
Has anyone had this happen and had entry denied into the lounge?

I can't find them right now, but I do recall other users here have reported success with this.

I had exactly the same thing - linking a Qantas lounge invitation to a JQ flight beyond the expiry.

The Qantas lounge invitation expires in July and my JQ flight is in October - I've also got a confirmation and QR code.

I'd imagine no reason for it to be invalid / denied entry even if the invitation has expired, as we've technically "used" it by attaching it to a booking.

Yes I've done it before - see this thread: Free - Qantas Lounge Invitations

No issues entering lounges in Singapore J, Melbourne international J, Melbourne QP and Sydney QP. Not sure if it would work for QF flights as the linking process is different, but for JQ it appears that not much validation is done both when linking the passes as well as subsequently when showing the confirmation email at the lounge (at the lounge, it was just a visual confirmation of the pass confirmation email)
