Qantas market research survey

I'm halfway through an online survey I received tonight. Some questions include:
Which one of these would you choose for your next trip visiting friends or relatives in London?
Qantas
Economy @ $1910
Eligible for reward points/miles and tier status points at half usual rate

Duration/Number Connections:Leaves/arrives within 6-8 hours of when I want via most direct route

Lots of other interesting suggestions! Anyone else done this? I gave up - it was taking too long.

I just 'completed' it and it promptly shut the browser session! I have no idea how it is going to issue me 500 points...if that was a technical glitch I'll be most unhappy. I only sat through the stinking thing for the points. :evil:

Maybe a different survey? Though the question you quote is kinda similar to what I got, except I got lots of them, and all very odd combinations of airlines/lounge access/seating/IFE etc.

The e-mail is addressed to me, so perhaps when I linked through to it, it got my 'details' for the points...I'll check with 'em tomorrow.

it was a marathon I just couldn't finish. got about 3/4 through before I realised how long it was taking and I needed to be somewhere else. 500pts is not worth the time....anyone from Qantas Marketing dept listening??

I found their thinking quite interesting. There was a clear pattern after a while, but it took too long and the browser closed without even a thank you.

Yeah, i didnt like the way the browser killed itself without anything to tell you that you'd completed the survey! I reclicked in my email to see if i had in fact finished.

Agree it was quite long, and for that length some F points (250-500 or thereabouts) would be appropriate.

My questions focused on Singapore flights with same combo.

I'd say it's been designed to look at the market for discount business (for leisure flyers) and the structure of their premium economy product.

Thx for posting Skoogle ...just checked my account and I got 500 also (the way the survey ended when I did it, I was expecting to have to chase the points).

Me too, but mine were Platinum points worth twice the normal
