I am travelling to LA soon on qantas with my partner on QF 25 & 26. We have been sent itinerary with seat allocation as 27H/J both ways. I have checked seatguru and found where they are but no idea if these are good seats or if i should ask for something else.

Can anyone please offer advice?

I am QC Silver - Missed gold by 50 SC's last year and should just make it there this year!!!

Thanks for the help in advance.

Note that it is very likely that someone will be allocated 27K - the window seat. So every time they want to get up to go to the lav or stretch their legs you will both have to stand up to let them out.

For this reason I normally prefer to be in the centre block of seats (DEFG) rather than the window blocks (ABC, HJK). Some people travelling as a couple like to sit at the back of the 747 where the body narrows and there are only 2 seats wide in the window blocks. These are seats in rows 70-73 in the AB or JK positions. The downside is that you are almost last off the aircraft at the destination.

NM. Thanks very much for your response. I have managed to book 72 AB both ways.:)
