Qantas Multi stop trip via Hong Kong

Hi all,

Love the forum, I read much more than I post. I wish I had seen this forum when I was travelling for work. I was averaging a return internal flight each fortnight and although I had reached Gold FF, I could have made platinum if I had the knowledge I do now from reading this forum.

Now to my questions.

I'm taking the family to Europe in August this year with a layover in Hong Kong ten on to London, returning home from Paris via Singapore. I have enough points to fly my wife and I will cough up the coin for the rest of us. My problem is the Qantas website won't let me use the Multi-City planner if I include Hong Kong. So what am I doing wrong? It works when I do an award booking wit the same dates. I've tried all sorts of combinations.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

To add to the above, it works when I enter the itinerary into webjet. Weird, maybe I'll use them

Or try using Matrix - ITA Software and then handing the booking information to your favourite travel agent.
