Qantas new premium economy seats

I flew the new PE Seat on a refurbished A380 on QF1 SYD-SIN and I found the footrest pretty nice. Admittedly, I've never tried the older seat with the leg-rest so I don't really have a point of comparison.

What do you prefer, Sertfy? Or just keep your feet on the floor?
For us slightly shorter ones the footrest is sometimes a great addition but I'm also still figuring out "the solution" to this.
One foot on floor with heel on the other leg tucked over ankle. Swap every so often.

It's not just Qantas. They generally are too short for me to rest comfortably. It may be I have an unusual hip to heel ratio for my height

Most useful was the AirNZ beanie on their short lived PE space seat (after they added 15cm pitch).

Not sure if this is a problem on the A380s but the state of the footrest and seat pockets on the 787 is terrible. The 'faux' leather on the footrest starting wearing away after only a few months - it looks very cheap. Anyone else noticed it?

That and also the footrests are a little broken - I reckon people keep trying to force it down, without realising there's a lever you have to pull to release it.
