I would have to agree as being a WP1 I don't find much difference as a WP I am currently at 2400 SC with 6 months to go and will re qualify as a WP1, also I am a WP with VA and got that in the first 3 months. To me its the little touches that cost nothing that both airlines really lack. I never get a welcome back on VA anymore, the other day on a EK code share (I was on a QF flight number) I got the most outstanding welcome back from the Senior in the J cabin and she explained where she came from and was happy to have me back on board. EK only see you as a WP. As most of my travel is in the premium cabins I am not after upgrades but friendly staff. As Samh had a nice comment on his boarding pass, that would make me happy. I will seriously consider my options when i get to LTG ( I am only 71% there)
