I didn’t say the “public at large”. But those in the know also know that some of the better points earning (uncapped) come from an AMEX.
AMEX is widely accepted, even Coles and Woolies with no service fee. Yes, as mentioned earlier some places don’t take AMEX because of legacy setups.
The broader passing on of CC surcharges is a whole other matter….
