Qantas points earn from Gift Voucher purchase?

Hi all, was wondering what the Qantas points earn rate is on flight vouchers?

I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Would be making purchase with debit card with my qff account.

Outside promotion periods, there is no earn on them. So will just be whatever your card gives you (if anything)

Of course the flights you fly on will earn points.

The days of the Christmas promotions have passed... and that was the only times they had those 10x and later 5x earn promotions.

Of course using a QFF earning CC will earn points on the spend, and if it's one with bonus points for QF spend then that would apply to, but in general there's nothing extra for GV purchase (apart from the lack of CC fees, which is very handy in some situations)

tbh they'd have to really sweeten the deal given the uncertainties still ongoing.

I mean, aside from about the 10 or more mix of credits and TP's I have to use, who would want a voucher, even one valid for three years, when nobody is certain who can go where and when?

I imagine right not there are more than a few of those QFF members who might be enticed by points earn, or DSC promos or whatever, who will have a bundle of credits to use ahead of NEW ones.
