Qantas points required for business class travel to Europe tripled?!

Hi, new to this forum. Due to the pandemic, I had to cancel flights to Europe twice over the past year. On either occasion, I spent 632000 points for my partner and me on return business class tickets. Points were refunded every time without any problems. I started looking again to book flights with points for December 2022. However, I dont seem to get anything below 1800000 points, which is triple the cost of the previous flights. Is there something I missed?

Yes. You need to look for classic rewards, those ones with high points are basically cash fares converted into points, points plus pay.

Look for the tiny (almost hidden) slider that says "Rewards Only" or use the multi-city tool and click on "Use points - Classic Flight Rewards Only".
