Quick question for those that can help.

I've just had my Silver extended for another year until 31 July 2013, but I will hit gold before the end of my current re-assessment period (currently at 675 SCs, will be doing 30SCs of travel on 29 July).

Will this mean that I'll be getting a new Silver pack sent out to me now with new card/expiry, and then a gold pack soon after my 29 July flights? Just curious to see if I pick up that lounge pass that I can use before one of my 29 July flights (last as a PS).

Cheers,
C

As soon as you (re)-qualify for a level you will get the pack, even if future flights in your profile show you will soon move up. This happened to me this year as I requalified PS, earnt SG and then WP within three months. I now have a lounge pass and lots of Q tags of different colours.

Enjoy handing the lounge pass to a friend and then wait for them to tell you they didn't have long enough. :)

The above in red is incorrect - if you re-qualify a level you won't get your new card until ~6 weeks before the end of your "year". One the other hand it is correct for qualifying for a higher status level.

I presume gusty has already received their PS card and pass for next year - if so then they won't get another 'pack', bit on reaching SG, a new card will be in the mail soon enough.

This is interesting. The wife is a QF NB but has over 1400 status credits this year after doing a RTW in F with me. She only has two of these though: ~

We are doing a domestic return in September. Will be interesting to see whether they send her three cards, or just the one.

Thanks for the help on this one.

Actually haven't received PS pass/card for next year yet, wasn't sure if QF were holding off due to bookings qualifying me for SG. Will keep an eye out for it.

My post was not quite clear enough; thank you for the clarification serfty. It should read 'As soon as you qualify for a higher level...'
