Qantas Rewards Seats Booking Failed - flights disappeared?

Earlier today I was booking 4 rewards seats to Bali in March 24.
I was at the end of the booking and my credit card decided to not work (joy of joys) - and then the booking timed out so I had to start again.
The seats, however, have not been returned to the inventory (even though I tried straight away). I think it unlikely that someone purchased four seats at exactly the same time (there's plenty of availability every day, except now for this specific day I need to depart).
Has anyone experienced this? How long does it typically take for seats to return to the inventory?

You'll likely find the booking in your "My bookings" page with a PNR. Just call up ASAP, quote the reference and pay.

No such luck unfortunately - no PNR and no record of the booking.
Weirdly it is still showing in my shopping cart, however when I click on it it doesn't work and starts the search again - showing the flights as unavailable.
I feel like if I call the call centre they're just gonna say they're not available - right?

So I caved and called the call centre - they were able to see the tickets on their side and booked them for me.

I was nervous they wouldn't be ticketed - although after plugging in my PNR on the Royal Jordanian website (a hack I've learned from AFF) it appears to have an 081- ticket number - so pretty happy with that! (Hoping I'm not missing anything!)
