Hi Sexy People
I Booked my FIRST Status run (yay) at the end of July during the status run promo earlier this year, It was through Flight Centre who have now spoken with Qantas FF team about my situation.
If Qantas reissue the ticket outside the "promo period" then it will be deemed a normal flight ( which defeats the whole purpose) ..so i have to wait until Qantas releases another status run promo and re issue the ticket in that period. Prices may be higher, SC maybe lower, connections may not be available. if that's the case i should be able to apply for a refund , which seems a complete waste of time . Has anybody else come across this ?
Regards
TD

As long as the flight is still in the travel window for the promo, and the booking ref hasnt changed, then the DSC should still credit just fine.

thanks @aus_flyer and @blackcat20
lets say, if the double SC promo comes out in sept , ( normally twice a year right?) , then my outcome would be just book different dates with exactly the same flight details , say fly next Feb or when they open international flights . would that mean the same booking reference ?
