Dont usually travel through Sydney, arriving on EK (classic rewards) , need to transfer to dometic terminal for domestic qantas flight separately ticketed. Can i use the qantas seamless transfer ( have 3 huge bags + carry on luggage), so trying to minimise hassle.
If not possible, is there a hassle free service , even if paid one?

I imagine you could do online check in and drop the bags off at the transfer building, where the qantas domestic shuttle leaves from.

Thats what i am hoping for, just need to know if seamless transfer is available for EK inbound on T1 , there is a thread on it but with 20 pages of mix advice.

Many 100s (1000's) of passenger arrive daily and have onward separate flights in QF or VA. Big business for both airlines & JQ
Both QF & VA have check-in & bag drop facilities at SYD T1.
QF have a dedicated bus. VA passengers use the free airport T bus.

I know there is a qantas service , question was if the service (qantas seamless transfer as its called not bag drop) is eligible for people flying in on EK ( not codeshare).

Mate , spare me the ‘lots of people do this’ response , read the question and stick to the point.

No need to respond to this message .
You should probably just give up on the whole concept of international travel.

“The Qantas Seamless Transfer service is available for customers connecting to/from a Qantas flight”

Thank you for unsolicited advice (first bit)
As for second part , what you quoted ‘may not be accurate’ as reported on some other thread on this forum, hence reason for asking the question ….

Qantas seamless transfer

The Qantas Seamless Transfer service is available between Qantas and Qantas, oneworld or Emirates Flights, subject to capacity restrictions and operational requirements.
