Hi All,

I'm trying to book a return flight to coughet with a stopover on the way back for 2-3 nights in Singapore using the online booking tool.

If I try book just a plain return flight I get tons of hits with QF flights MEL-SIN then swapping to Jetstar Asia for SIN-HKT. When I try using the multi-city option to add a stopover I get no available flights.

Is there a trick I'm missing or is this just not possible via the multi-city engine online?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Need to arrive in HKT on 26/10 and depart HKT on 31/10 with 2-3 days in Singapore on 31/10 - 02/11 or thereabouts.

You would be better off doing it a a separate booking, the QF coded 3K flights dont earn status credits (excluding some expensive options that are unlikely to appear), this is what I do going to KUL and leave 3 or so hours free for possible issues or even give yourself an extra day in Singapore on the way up.

Thanks markis10 - just to clarify do you mean do the SIN-HKT-SIN as a separate booking to MEL-SIN-MEL? So just booking two separate return flights?

Yes, just book it using the mobile site on Jetstar, I am not sure if there will be much difference in price but at least you can add a plus pack etc, currently those dates are SGD$174 return including plus pack.
