Qantas Urgent Landing at Sydney - Captain has Chest Pains

Takeoff from BNE may have been too stressful:
Maybe the stress of getting to the airport late and missing his own flight (bad joke) although some taxi driver reported to the ABC today about spending 4 hours to get a pax home from work due to plenty of roads being flooded.

Curiously, it seemed that the first officer is not allowed to sit in the pilots seat so the captain with the chest pain has to taxi the plane to the air bridge. What kind of the rule is that to allow a potentially sick pilot with defrib pads still on his chest (presumably) to operate the plane after landing

SMH article is paywalled.

Fortunately, the subsequent post (news.com.au link) does the job.
