Hello all

At the moment we are tossing up wether to get a Citibank card and to rack up Sykward points or stick with our current Qantas visa card. We currently have 225000 Qantas points as we use our credit card for everything. We manage to get a trip to Europe every 2 years using our Visa. We don't fly as much as we used to and we are only Qantas bronze members. I have become a Skywards member but I cannot see on their website how many points are required for a return flight to Paris. The points required from Qantas is 128000 return in economy.
Any suggestions please
Thank you

Citi Emirates card may be capped at 150,000 per card per year so you have to be careful not to go over that number each year. If you were to get to that number you could get a second card in your partners name.
Perth folks seem to like Emirates product so it could work ok for you.
Have a look at the thread US Air Dividend Miles as you could enjoy that approach to travel to Europe.

On Qantas, in addition to the stop in Singapore, you'll need to change at London or Frankfurt to get to Paris (unless the rumours about them going there again is true). You could possibly fly with CX, but that will cost more points. On Emirates, there is only one change of plane required, and there are also a lot of other European cities on offer without having to change planes again.
