any idea why one leg of my MH flightsappears on the Qantas website - but not the syd-kul leg?

Amex tends to use the Galileo system for bookings (www.viewtrip.com) rather than Amadeus.

This means that any Qantas flights need to be exported from Galileo into Amadeus for Qantas to see them correctly.

I think what has happened is that you have had an informational sector added to you Amadeus reference. These sectors are just for information for your carrier to assist with baggage connections,Boarding pass issue and generally to let the airline know where you are if your incoming flight is late.
