Qantaslink B717 Retirement

Heaps of fan fare and media regarding the new A220 in recent months, but wondering if anyone has an idea on when the final B717 will fly?

I understand the issue is somewhat Pilot related? Ie nobody wants to go over to the A220?

From what I gather National Jet Systems is facing the same dysfunction internal issues as Network Aviation in regards to Pilots.

Most of the 717s have been withdrawn from service.

Only six 717 aircraft remaining in the fleet, on track to be retired in October-December according to multiple other forums.

Suggested in another thread that its the old Qantas trick - want to move across, go under a new (worse) contract.
