Hi guys,

Qantaslink have recently started running Q400's on the WGA-SYD route, in place of DH4-300's.
I seem to be unable to select anything in rows 1-4 in during OLCI. QFF Platinum, Fare type Y.

Does anyone know why this might be the case?

Cheers,
Mat.

I would guess it is due to them being held for CL's.

If anything I would say weight and balance reasons. The smaller a/c are more susceptible than larger jet aircraft. How many seats in total were empty?

Hmm, interesting.

OLCI shows 19 rows in total, all 2 x 2 except row 1, which only has A and B seats.
So ... 74 seats total, with 14 seats unavailable in rows 1-4.

Rows 1 and 2 are shown as exit rows, so that might explain them ... but not rows 3 and 4.

Just to complicate matters mrsdrron, also WP, has been able to select rows 1-4 flying DPO-MEL-usually she selects row2 so she can have her carryon with her.

Platinum here, have the same issue on Qantaslink flights. Seems to have occurred from some time in 2009.

Well ... maybe it depends on flight load, which I guess would make sense.

Was able to OLCI this evening into 2D for tomorrow night's Q400 flight.
