In the spirit of Oneworld operating as a united conglomerate with reciprocal benefits, this fare (booking class P) will earn you a whopping 0 points if credited to Qantas. Me thinks AJ doesn’t like Admiral Akbar.

Actually, the QF IT crowd have found the letter “P” (must be all this Wordle activity) and we now earn J points and SCs.

If I’ve read it correctly, the QF earn table for QR eligible flights was updated to include

Business CDIJP*R

*Effective for travel on and from 1 October 2021, P class will earn at the Business Frequent Flyer Earn Category.

The really sad thing still is SIN-DOH earns more than SYD/MEL-DOH….

Nice fare… but the ticket restrictions are that it must be issued on or before 31 Jan 2022. Might just scrape in for US time for the next few hours.

Just a reminder that P fares have no lounge access so you would need to rely on status or other means to get in.

I must admit I didn’t bother looking at the fare ticketing validity. In either case, a quick check of the same fare now prices at $2,660 AUD and must be ticketed before end of February and first flight flown by end of March.

Shame it's flying through Qatar... not keen on risking the wife getting sexually assaulted at the airport.

👍 Loyalty Lobby also posted it the same day as the fare was due to expire! Good that it has been extended.

This fare has been reduced to $1,628 USD or $2,275 AUD. Same fare rules still apply. Seems like a very good price for a very good product.

Also available departing Thursdays until 16th June. Great price ... but no miles? Lame.

The QF points calculator says you should earn, but we all know how reliable that is.

I posted earlier that the QF Ts&Cs state that we do earn points and SCs now.

If SIN wasn’t all over the place, I’d book in a heartbeat.

Yep, earns miles but no lounge access
Yeah, not good if you don’t have status but otherwise you can still access a lounge if OWS/E. Except for DOH, we’re you’d end up in the sub par status PAX lounges, elsewhere is normal OW rules - including QF 1st/Biz in SIN when they open.

I believe the subpar DOH lounges are still closed so you would still get the (impressive IMO) Al-Mourjan lounge with non-QR OWS/OWE while they remain so
