Qatar business reward no availability?

I'm looking at seats.aero, there is pretty much no availability of business rewards on Qatar from Australia in April 2025.

Anyone know why? Have they been released to Velocity at all?

Personally, I've seen a lot less QR availability through VA recently - the end of April is not also not bookable on Velocity, but I can also see very little availability from Australia-Doha on all QR partners, so it's QR-side shenanigans. Will they release more? I don't know. Some airlines don't seem to release award availability until they finalise their summer schedules (beyond end of March) but this doesn't seem to be the case here.

Would recommend setting up some seat alerts on Seats.aero, they're usually decent enough.

Try searching on BA or qatar. I was able to book Melーdoh just last week for travel in April 2025. Something weird is going on with Qatar. They did not have any first class seats before and now releasing a bunch.

After checking, did you book through Velocity website or phone?

I haven't seen any on the routes I have been checking since 19/4 but I admit I haven;t checked out ADL. You don't even see them on AA and VA at the time of release. Maybe just the odd J seat released so all gone for those having VA and/or AA points.

There are only some in the beginning of april. From mid april to end of april 25, zero.
I think they are releasing in batches as someone suggested before. Something very weird is going on with them. Or maybe avios members have taken the flights? I booked end of April myself.

I’ve just booked my J return flights HBA to Europe on points, heading over with Qatar and returning with Singapore. There were plenty of options from minor Australian ports like Hobart and Adelaide. I had to be flexible with dates and also it ended up being best to make three separate bookings, with a two day stopover in SIN. The stopover cost me a bit more in points but I’m very happy with my itinerary.
