Qatar Airways Lounge in Singapore T1

Like all of us, I’m missing travel dearly so I thought I’d upload a picture I forgot to post from 11 March just before the lockdown.

What an amazing lounge, great service, such a contrast to the QF F Lounge which has significantly declined in service already.

Oh and also of note, during my stay the staff mentioned that two guests travelling Finnair late in the evening meant they were staying open through their usual close down between flights.

Better than Qantas F lounge in Singapore ?

Yes. Peaceful and attentive service. Better drinks.
QF F lounge no longer offers the cold towel (which was so nice when they did) and Now just wants to force feed you food and move you on. Drinks painfully slow. And quite crowded.

That said, if I’m travelling Y or Jetstar - more than happy to clog up the QF F lounge. :p

Well glad I got to experience Qatar J lounge in Singapore in early Feb. I was flying in J on a night flight with my good ol QF bronze.

Sound like I didn’t miss out on much regarding the Qantas F in Singapore.

Thanks for the photos,. It always seems to get good reports. I should have been spending a few hours there in August - waiting for a FInnair flight.:(

Feb 1, 2020! That was how long ago I was there, just before the dreaded lockdown. So long ago that I had to go back and read what I wrote. 😂 Can’t wait to get back there again, too bad my J’s recently via SIN was SQ.

Shower and dinner in the Qatar Changi lounge. Myself and one other pax here since the lounge opened 1.5 hours ago. Blows my mind that people don’t know about this as an option when flying OW J. For comparison, the QF J lounge was fairly busy.

I will remember your post when I fly in next March and will use the QR lounge.

I’ll try to remember that when we go home on a J ticket on QF2/QF36 early next month!

So if I am flying SIN - SYD J on QF, I can access the Qatar lounge? I just need to show my boarding pass?

Lots of info/discussion here.

That's right. Currently opens at 6PM.
It also closes very late ~2am after QR flight out.
