QATAR membership card (matched with velocity)

I received a gold Qatar membership to match my Gold Velocity membership. In the email it said I would receive a membership kit e.g. a membership card. I have never received one. Did anyone else?

Your best bet would be to add the QR number to your booking, which will then show on the BP allowing you to gain entry to the lounge. Once you have entered, you can then head to a service desk and switch the number to your QF number to earn to your QF account instead.

Note that if doing this you may be told you are not allowed access after switching the numbers, and when that happens you should probably have a link to the two AFF articles where Qantas staff members said this and later got lambasted for the incorrect information.

Side note to more informed members, presumably if you knew a TA they could add one number to the FQTV and the other to FQTS?

FQTS plus FQTV are used in the event that a frequent traveller wishes to both accrue miles in one airline's scheme and also be recognised for the reason of service benefits through a different airline's scheme.

Never received my QR WP matched status, I seem to recall an email stating a delay on them.
You can also add the QR WP card to your apple wallet.

QR have said that due to Covid no physical packs are being sent out at the moment.
