I'm a QC member and new SG, will be doing some flights on YUPP AA fares in the USA next year, wife in toe who is a SB, I guess she wont be able to access the AA lounges?.

As my Q Club membership has two years left on it and i get access free as a SG now, recon Q might let me transfer the QC membership to her so then we both could (might) be able to use it for AA?.

Your QP membership is suspended until such time as you are no-longer eligible for status based complimentary QP access.

You cannot transfer it.

However, as posted by justinbrett, as a QF based oneworld sapphire you have have access rights with one guest to the A/C's (or any other onewolrd Business class lounge) you can access before your AA flights.

Yes wife is travelling with me, so perfect, thanks guys...

Be sure to check here for all the lounges available at your ports. It's 95% correct, in my experience and you might well find a lounge with better offerings than an Admirals Club.
