I was just booking a meeting room at SYD T2 QC for this coming Friday. Notice that the charges have increased again as of 1 Feb. New rates are:
New Changes Effective from 1 February 2006
From 1 February 2006, new meeting room charges will apply. Meeting rooms will be charged according to the number of guests and hours of use.

1-4 $40.00 $240.00
5-8 $60.00 $360.00
9+ $80.00 $480.00
This is a significant increase from the $20/hr that used to be charged - obviously enough demand to cope with such increases.
