I will be flying into Melbourne on QF 26 which has a stopover in Auckland.

Will I be able to access the QC lounge in Auckland on just a stopover? I wouldn't mind a quick shower before coming back to Melbourne and as the temporary lounge at Tom Bradley doesn't have showers I didn't know if this would be possible in Auckland?

Yup. During the 90 minutes, if you are eligable to enter the QP/Flounge , then you can indeed use it

Lounge is busy at that time of the morning but the showers probably wont be (especially if you are quick to get to the lounge).

Is that flight from LA normally full?

I have only ever flown LAX - MEL direct and that never has never had a spare seat...!

Yes always full when I fly it. May be different story midweek though.

Just as QF & UA cosy on the Oz-US route, QF & NZ are likewise on NZ-US route.
