Hi all

Just wondering if any one has used these seats and how they are as looking to possibly reserve on upcoming SIN Flight, but concerned on leg room

Cheers

Yes they have an inch or two of extra foot room over the old config, fine for a day time flight but no good to stretch out at night- pick a row back maybe for the return

Thanks Yohy it is an over night flight so will look at an alternative seat.

Many thanks

Is it the same with seats 23A and 23B?

Depending on how tall you are and the time of the flight, these seats are quite good. For me (at 5' 8"), these seats suit me fine as I have no one reclining in front of me with good knee room.

Thanks. An "inch or two" can make quite a difference! But is the bulkhead a solid one with no floor level cutouts? (like the old config).

Just arrived in Perth on the refurbished 330 so presume it was the 200 series.

Was in 26 k and walking past front of economy row it looked to be quite cramped behind the bulkhead compared to row 23 on the old type as the exit is now in business.

Cant quite see what the fuss is about the refurbished planes from an economy point of view. The exit row down the back looked to be the pick of the seats to me.

The business cabin looked nice, but then so does any business cabin and it seems pretty hard to get a last minute points upgrade on these flights.

Also, not that I really use it but the t v in my seat was also u/s

The fuss is entirely about the business cabin, which is a lot better than any of the various inconsistent cabins it is replacing.

There is a reasonably good review of the economy seats here : Best economy seats on the refurbished Qantas A330-300 | Economy Traveller

It would seem the first row bulkhead seats are the same as before, pitch wise, and do not have floor level cut outs in front of them. So for me, being quite tall, they will be OK for a day flight but pretty horrible for an overnight flight. Pity there is no cut-out!

Some usual advantages are:
A more private feel
No one reclines into "your" area, so more "knee area room"
You are often served meals first
You can get off the aircraft more quickly

Some usual disadvantages are:
Limited leg room
Noise from the adjacent bassinet area
Noise and light from the adjacent galley
The entertainment unit must be stowed for take of an landing
The entertainment unit in the arm rests means the arm rests are not movable
The seat is slightly narrower

What do people think about 45 A or K

I am concerned re toilet proximity.

Personally I found 24J to be absolutely coughhouse coming back from the KUL/SIN Lounge run. I'm 180 cm and usually have no issues with bulkhead rows. Only positive was having a shadow.

They get a bad review on the link I gave:

If you are tempted to select 45A and 45K thinking that they are these golden exit row seats, don’t do it! These seats are very unpopular as the door slides protrude into your leg room, leaving very little room for movement. This might be fine if your seat mate is known to you and is willing to share their own immense legroom, however a stranger might be less appreciative.
