Hi all hoping some one may be bale to assist with the following information.

Can anyone measure and or advise the distance between the edge of the seat and the bulkhead at 66E and F.

My sister and Brother in law is 6ft 7 almost have reserved these seats for an upcoming flight and whilst there is extra room in the seats. the inability to stretch out into the Aisle or under the seats in front would be a concern to me, especially given that they would need to disturb others to get out.

I need the measurement so that I can get them to do a dummy run by setting a seat in front of a wall and see how long they can sit there for with out the ability to fully stretch out.

It is on Qantas A380 LHR - MEL

What type of aircraft, airline and flight? Different airlines have different legroom. A good source is seatguru.com where you can find most airline crafts and measurements.

LOL Thanks RoseAna well I at least knew what I was looking for. Sorry have edited original post.

Looking at Qantas A380 and this dimension cant be found on seat guru. :)

Re: Knee Room

They're aware that 66E and F are middle seats aren't they? :)

I did find this picture, but not sure if it's an optical illusion. I've never been a fan of bulk-head seats. Yes, you get more 'legroom' but that should really be knee-room. I'm 6'3"-ish, and I have no 'foot' room. I prefer to be able to extend my feet under the seat in front that have my toes butt-up against the bulk head.

Are there any other non-bulk head exit rows? Suggest they look at pre-paying for those if available. Keep in mind reduced seat-width in bulk heads/exit rows as the entertainment screens and tray tables are stored in the arms.

Re: Knee Room

Hi Drewbles

Thanks for the picture, yes they are aware it is middle seat. Must be something wrong with them lol. I am trying to persuade them to change seats as I suspect they will be very uncomfortable.

Based on my own experience I have estimated a distance of around 560mm from the leading edge of the seat cushion to the bulkhead.

Just hope they come to there senses or Mrs Ansett and I will have to pay for 80A or K seat for BIL and a normal seat for Sis who is a shorty at 5ft1 LOL.
