QF A380 (VH-OQL) @ 1300ft and 160kts above Richmond, Victoria??

Just saw the big bird doing a very low pass overhead and is now heading due north maintaining 4000ft and 230kts. Anyone know why??
 
rightyo. that makes sense given the MCG is right there.

Didn't feel like it was that low of a flyover - ISTR some RAAF C-17s that came much lower at a game several years ago. Coincided with the announcement that QF is now CA's official airline partner (bit of a turnaround from AN and EK).

According to the link I posted above this is about the time of the flyover:
  • Altitude: 1275 ft (389 m)
  • Speed: 110 kt (204 km/h, 127 mph)
  • Track: 208°
 
We managed to get 3 personal fly overs above our backyard whilst it was circling around waiting to head to the MCG! It was so low you could almost see what the captain was eating for breakfast!
