QF-BA divorce and SCs

I have booked in J next April/May for MEL-HKG-CDG and return, with QF to HKG and BA to CDG (and vice versa).
With QF due to divorce BA in March and get into bed with EK, will I still get QFF SCs for the BA flights?
I could cancel and rebook (at a cost) with QF the whole trip apart from LHR-CDG, but there's a complication: Mrs Hermes is travelling with me on a classic award seat. We are locked into hotel bookings in Europe based on the current flight dates, so if there are no award seats on the MEL-DXB-LHR route on those dates we're in trouble. Any advice?

You should still earn SCs BA and QF are still in Oneworld. I doubt you will have any problems. QF is still flying to HKG and BA is still flying from there to CDG.

The planned split results in cessation of a lot of joint operations and marketing of joint fares and coordination. They will probably lose things like the minimum points, access for QF club members to BA Lounges etc. Basically think of the relationship getting downgrade to the QF and CX relationship except the executives of BA and QF will probably no undermine each other.

At this point I wouldn't be worried. Now if you had a QF flight going via SIN that would be a different matter.

With the ending of the QF/BA JSA, there may be changes to the number of FF points earned on what were the defined "Kangaroo Route" sectors, but I believe will be no change to SC earn for travel on BA flight (being based purely on class, earning eligibility and distance).

Why wouldn't you get SC's?

It is not as if QF is leaving Oneworld is it?

With reciprocity, will that then affect BA pax accessing the Flounge in Sydney and Melbourne? I would have thought not. However it will be busy a times with a few extra 380's to feed and water.

The other thing is, QP members hardly have access to BA lounges when flying BA. Those benefits were eroded away.

Even if you do have access based on QP membership, I have seen the attendants at the entry kick up a rude fuss even though QP members were perfectly entitled to access.
