QF: Can I change flights?

I've booked a flight to Miami in late April. But other colleagues got a different flight.

Is calling Qantas, and waiting between 2 and 7 hours?! worth it? i.e., Will, they change my flight for me? Or will I incur some crazy penalties? I understand the flight may differ in price slightly. I can cope with that. But wondering if there's some penalty.

Check the t&cs, date etc... But looking fine to me

All done via the Qantas website. So thought it would be easier. Starting to think - should have gone with Flight Centre. Should I be able to change?

Yeah. I booked my flight. Maybe 8 days ago. Had to complete the ESTA thing. Found that I can’t travel in my UK passport as I recently became a citizen. Quickly got my Aussie passport - and entered ESTA details. All good. Ticket went to confirmed and my eTicket arrived. So it seems it all good. Just unable to make a small change. When I say: Small. I mean - change my outbound flight to the same one my colleagues are on.
