QF/CX status not recognised by Alaska Airlines in their system

I have been flying Alaska in the US for the past few weeks and no matter how hard I tried, their system won't recognise my QF (lifetime gold) or CX Diamond status. As a result, I have to talk my way out of paying for check in bags and lounge access. I still can't find a way to board earlier or choose seats without having to pay.

Has anyone else experienced similar problem?

Worked fine for me last couple of times.

Do you have a six digit QFF number? Try entering a leading zero “0”.

Either way, they ought to be able to correctly add your details at checkin and/or lounge.

I have a 5 digit number QFF number and I have added the "0". I also tried to use my CX FF and not did not work. I was in the lounge and the very helpful staff there tried for an hour and couldn't figure out why it did not work. A colleague who travelled with me had the same problem with his MH FF. We both flew with Alaska last year and had no problem then.

Maybe add two zeros! ?

That does sound like some sort of issue on the AS end…(no pun intended).

Is your first name - 2nd name - surname the same in the QF-CX ffp account and on the tickets?
But 2nd name - initial should not matter.
Passport name the same?

Yes, that’s a good point!

I once had an AA booking reverse First/Surname. No idea why or how. It had never happen before nor after - although funnily my QFF# stuck…🤷‍♂️

Names are all the same. It was all good last year when I flew Alaska. It is most likely an Alaska issue. May be some changes to their system in anticipation for the merger with Hawaiian.
