Just bought BNE-MEL in late Jan so avoided that one.

Might have to buy my tix for march whilst they're still available.

Edit: oops, meant to add - thanks for shaing Travel Guru.

QF sneakily increased SYD-BNE by $4 just before the last sale and now another increase? So much for increased competition keeping airfares lower....

Interesting that SYD-BNE has remained at $98. On the other hand SYD-MEL has increased to $105 ($7 increase) and MEL-BNE has increased to $155.

Well we all can just want for sale to purchase QF tickets.

I have noticed now that both DJ and QF have stopped fighting and slowing increasing their ticket prices.

Until TT improve their on-time performance, I can see this will continue to happen.

In a year of abnormal travel, the lack of sales mid November through December is quite normal.

Anyone noticing JQ pushing up those prices also? SYD-BNE now $89, ridiculous... I remember the days when SYD-MCY was on sale for $39, now it sits at $99. Soon as Tiger left Newcastle, now fares are up to $80 bucks. These routes are barely 1.5hrs for christ sake.

The Avalon to Brisbane fares will need to come down from $109 if they want to have some sort of chance of not being eaten alive by Tiger with their 3 Daily $42 flights

I also thought I saw an ad in the paper the other day advertising some absurd prices on MEL-OOL for $129 which is close to what I paid with Impulse 10 years ago.

+1
YES
Sneaky sneaky...
PER-SYD almost the same price on both DJ and QF. Luckily l paid for most of travels about 2-3 months ago. Got nothing planned after Jan 4th so far.

So by increasing the fares it must mean that QF have pretty high loads on their flights then?
Are there any govt stats showing that at all?
