QF/EK Europe sales patterns for Feb?

Hi all,

Looking to fly in lowly Y with my partner from BNE -> LHR on 19th Feb next year and return PRG -> BNE on 12th March. At the moment on BestFlights they're listing a sale fare for QF/EK, but Qantas haven't emailed through any specific sales for that period yet plus on the Qantas site they're listed as standard global deals, and the prices for BNE-LHR are listed as $2039 which seems quite high for a sale price for Feb. So some questions:

1. Would this sale be their best sale for Feb flights next year, or will a proper sale be coming in the near future? There have been some good BNE-LHR return fares from other airlines for Feb but there hasn't been one from Qantas yet which makes me think I should wait.
2. Last night I was looking at flights via the Qantas site and the flight from BNE to LHR that I want (leaving at 2:35am in BNE and arriving around 6:30pm in LHR) was there, but this morning it isn't. The same flight still appears via the Emirates site as well as matrix.ita, and expertflyer shows plenty of seats in all fare buckets still. Would this be a bug or would there be a reason Qantas is suddenly not showing it as an option anymore? Would it re-appear at a later date?

I checked for you the lowest fare from BNE-LHR and return from PRG-BNE is British Airways, airfare inc taxes approx. AUD1592.00 per person.

Thanks for the effort Phoebe. I wasn't after the best fares - I just had a few queries in regards to QF/EK. I ended up booking my flights a day after my post as I was generally happy with the price plus I needed the flights locked in to start planning everything else
