I received the email from Qantas yesterday about Premium Economy now being available for flights from Sydney to New York, San Francisco and Buenos Aires.
I was already booked SYD-LAX in July in Premium Economy with points and had planned to buy an American Airlines ticket for LAX-JFK. I looked at SYD-JFK for July and have now changed my flight to SYD-JFK on July 13.
There are still Premium Economy seats for SYD-JFK for most days in July using Classic Awards points so if anyone's interested it's a good time to book, with these seats having just been released.
