I booked a business sale flight from SYD to NAN via the Qantas website. My itinerary had a QF flight number although I knew I was on the FJ A350. I tried to check in at the Qantas counter at SYD but was directed to the Fiji Airways counter and was subsequently given an FJ boarding pass.

The consequence seems to be that I've gone from earning 80SC to zero. Am I missing something? How many SCs should I be entitled to, and can I get them back?

You always check in with the operating airline, in this case FJ.

As far as I can tell, with a QF code on your ticket, you should have earned the 80sc. You might need to lodge a claim.

Welcome to AFF @mrpe

As long as your FF number was in the booking, and the boarding pass shows a QF flight number, as BC20 says, you are entitled to the 80Cs.

Being on a partner airline, the points and SCs may take up to 2 weeks to post to your account; if they don't, see here:

Thanks blackcat20 and RooFlyer. I think you've identified the problem. My boarding pass had an FJ flight number even though my booking didn't and I've just been told bad luck. I'll try again through the link posted.

Anyway, even on an FJ flight number you should still be earning SCs.
