QF flight no. on Vietnam Airlines - will it get double status credits?

Hi All

Just a quick question, if I book a return flight SGN - SYD for June on Vietnam airlines but it is flying on a QF flight number would I get double status credits (yes, I got the email!) or not? Thanks

I can't see why it shouldn't. The promo has the following T&C:

Eligible flights for this double Status credits offer are flights with a Qantas (QF) flight number where Status credits are usually earned.

QF flight number - Yes.
SC's normally earned - Yes.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that was my thinking as well but I wasn't certain as obviously these flights would not be on QF metal. Cheers

I agree with Mal. There was no mention of the need for QF metal.
