QF are about to launch a new campaign featuring Miranda Kerr.

The campaign featuring the West Australian model will cost an estimated $1 million or more and is part of Qantas’s biggest marketing push since the 2000 Olympics.
Kerr is also the face of print and TV advertising and runway shows for David Jones, which plans to promote a new tie-up with the Qantas Frequent Flyer scheme and its store credit card.
Qantas has not renewed a deal with John Travolta, perhaps the biggest celebrity tied with the airline. Virgin turned to Elle Macpherson, a long-term associate of founder Richard Branson, to launch its new uniform last year, while Abu Dhabi’s Etihad has used Dannii Minogue as a brand ambassador.

I've got to be honest and say that I could never imagine Miranda Kerr in a QP like they're apparently trying to convince people she is in the new campaign. Don't eat the yoghurt or drink the apple juice babe!

Growing older is not something that really bothers me since the advent of Wikipedia. It's so easy to look up names of people I have never heard of before, and it is amazing what you find out. I'm heading up to my local Woolworths to buy coconut oil so that I too can have clear skin, shiny hair and trim figure.....with the additional benefit of Everyday Rewards points! Apparently it's all you need.

It does make me wonder about society though. Do people choose QF because Miranda Kerr is an ambassador? It's the JASA's and FASA's for me. (I couldn't have cared less about John Travolta either.) Is there any real need for QF ambassadors?

JT is unfortunately "tainted" from a corporate perspective at the moment...

I really don't like MK - but seeing she doesn't have any big scandals on the horizon (one hopes), she is a better corporate choice.

My boss has seen Ms Kerr and Mr Bloom in a QF lounge in LAX (not sure exactly what flavour of lounge - but my boss is a WP1 so I'll assume it's the First lounge). She was using the PC next to him. This was 2-3 years ago, well before her association with QF.

I'm afraid this is just another example of how bloody stupid human beings are! It's beyond my comprehension that people who have achieved superficial heights are showered with money

I'm not signalling Ms Kerr out for special attention......I just find the whole celebrity thing a useless waste!
