Has anyone seen any noticeable differences in international sale airfares today?

Actually I have. My parents booked some flights on Wednesday just gone MEL-SIN return departing in Oct. $780 return. I notice the "sale" fare has them at $799. So they saved $19 buying them before the "sale" :)

I neeed to go SYD-AKL end of this month.
Are the fares on sale now the best we are going to get or does anyone know if there are cheaper ones coming?
I'm more concerned about the SYD-AKL leg, the cheapies are 0615 departure (means an 0200 alarm. EEEEEKKK!)

There are no current sales for later this Month.

Qantas have one for dates on/after 12th October.

That is very cheap and makes my BNE-SYD-SIN-MEL-SYD special for ~$1100 booked many months ago look very sad.

These sorts of sales are great for last minute travellers. But then again I am not going to book leave, accommodation months in advance and wait for specials to turn up at the last minute.

Have a closer look at the validity John, its not just last minute travellers, unless you count Feb and March next year as last minute:

I must have misread the OP and thought that it is for departures up to 30 November 2010 only but looking at OP again that restriction may just be for South Africa only.

Anyway it looks like a good sale for low season travel but unfortunately I have the next 4 trips to Thailand booked already and this sale would not even come to some of the airfares I purchased considering I am travelling at busy times of the year.
