That is good news. I often have to check two bags and when the allowance for a J ticket was cut to one I was pretty annoyed.

As SG you get 2 x 23kg bags in whY & 2 x 32 kg bags when in J. This was effective late last year in response to considerable negative feedback after the SG allowance went from 33kg total (which could have been several pieces up to a total weight of 33 kgs) to one piece at 32 kg 01 June 2011.

I understand DJ offer a generous 69 kgs for J - not sure if status gives you any more if it's a flat rate for everyone in the J cabin.
