I'd forgotten about it, but the first QF flight to Orange in NSW operated yesterday.

Good they are giving it go at this time, also helps no doubt the the competition is struggling.

Not if they kill Rex off ......

Although with a virus, train is looking like a better (safer and cheaper) option for short trips.

If it wasn't for QantasLink, you can bet Rex wouldn't have a $108 fare though...

FWIW, I took the train from Sydney to Orange a few weeks ago (there is a direct train at least once per day - you don't always have to change to a bus in Bathurst) and it was a pleasant trip.

I just had a look back through my records, my last flight in 2010 SYD-OAG one way REX charged me $318 for REXSaver.
