QF lounge access and Avios

Just remember you'll need the QF# on the BP (with the status showing) to access the lounge in CBR. Then you'd need to change the FF# back to BA before boarding the flight if you want it to credit to BA and not QF.

Many lounges now will not accept just a FF card but also status showing on the BP (and one presumes when it is scanned on the system). CBR has definitely been known to, pre covid, deny pax showing a status FF# but a different number (eg BA) to credit to.

If you are Points Club you might get QF SCs too.
Apologies-on revisiting the thread I realise it wasn't an award booking so above point not relevant.

In last six months, I have entered QF Int J SYD, QR F DOH, BA F LHR, CX F LHR and QF J LHR all without the "correct" number on the boarding pass so variable acceptance at least

It's my understanding that lounges that do refuse access as in CBR above are wrong under OW rules

Thanks, exactly what I was after. Flight booked through work. I want to get off zero balance on Avios points so I can start subscription and build up a few Avios points that way.

No worries andye. It was a helpful reminder as I do actually have Points Club.

In sydney Qantas club trying to change booking to British Airways. After I edit details on Finnair it just says "Something went wrong. Please try again." Can I use another site? Should I put leading zeros on BA Exec Club member number?
