Hello!

I have a Qantas Oneworld classic reward itinerary coming up in just over a month including a ~28 hour stopover in Hong Kong (booked as one of the five possible stops)

I'd like to check my bag-through to avoid the hassle of taking it to my hotel in Hong Kong
Does Qantas place a limit on the maximum time between flights for which they'll let me check a bag through?

Thanks in advance!

I believe it can be a combination of airline and airport rules. See this (old) thread.

QF wouldn't check baggage through with long layover

I think it’s the second carrier that matters. QF would deliver the bags to them on landing and it’s a question whether that’s within their policy (and yes also depends on the airport).

Without knowing the second airline it’s pointless guessing.
