Other then the SYD-AKL legs of QF3/4, is QF only using 737s to NZ, or are there some A330 flights?

Yep only 737s in the schedule at the moment other than the QF119 BNE-AKL (and QF3 of course)... Looks that way till the end of the year at least.

QF119 BNE-AKL turns around and comes back as QF126. Looks like (at least for the one we are booked on in November) that it is (at least sometimes) the long haul version of the A330-200 with the seat back screens in Economy.

Most of the time it should be the long haul version as often QF126 then goes onto to do the LAX run.

Makes sense. Looks like the plane departs BNE for AKL at 9:05 arrives 15:15 local, turns around to depart back to BNE at 16:35 (scheduled for 80 minute turnaround), arrives back in BNE at 17:20, scheduled to depart for LAX at 22:00 (longer 4 hour 40 turn) which arrives 17:30 and then turns around back to BNE leaving 20:15 arriving 05:00 before the 9:05 scheduled departure again.

Makes a 2 day rotation, and the plane is scheduled to be on the ground for just under 11 hours out of the 48.

Yep. Other than BNE-WLG which is currently an E190.

The only regular A330 flights between the Tasman is between BNE and AKL.
Yes which uses NZ crew.

I wonder if the same NZ crew also do the BNE-LAX after a layover. The aircraft often does a AKL-BNE-LAX-BNE-AKL rotation. The aircraft would swop out of rotation with another A332 periodically at BNE

Was talking to the crew on my flight yesterday and the CSM mentioned they are a the start of their 8 day trip where they fly AKL-BNE-LAX-BNE-AKL.

It's a long trip I have to say...
