Hi, So we all know that booking online from different sites has large price differences eg BKK vs SIN and some on this board have posted that they've successfully booked online from an overseas location (in fact it looks like the only way to do it online). BKK obviously has the credit card presentation issue, but can this be gotten around by calling the QF call centre and using the same route (ex BKK)? Do they use the online price THB>AUD or do they price it completely differently (ie in Australian marked up prices) because even though the departure port is BKK they deem it an ex Aus transaction or something? Anyone know? Would be interesting for complex routes as well eg BKK>LHR>SYD. Currently AY have BKK>LHR>SYD in J for 122k THB (around $3700), all you'd need is a JASA to BKK and you've got a very cheap J return flight to LHR. Can't find a way to do a similar booking online for QF or BA (they all require you to return to your port of departure). Thanks Sorry about formatting here - new line commands keep getting taken out for some reason
